Herbarium Collection - Angelica

This hand-carved linoleum block print series was built from a personal collection of pressed flowers, plants and leaves.

This Angelica specimen was collected in Frederiksberg Garden in June 2024 and carved a few weeks later. Angelica is a genus of about 90 species of tall biennial and perennial herbs in the family Apiaceae, native to temperate and subarctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere.

It is printed to order on beige pacon paper with linseed oil inks in tones of burgundy and rose and measures 45cm x 30cm.
